Are There Really Leggings That Change the Shape of Your Butt

Leggings have become a wardrobe staple for many women, but are there really leggings on the market that can actually sculpt and alter the shape of your butt? We heard the rumors, and now we decided to find out for ourselves.
The North Face launched contoured legs unlike any other leggings because they claimed that these leggings, in addition to looking great, fitting well, and having flatlock seams to reduce chafing, could also make your butt look better. Is this magic? No, apparently it’s all down to their clever contouring patterns and anatomical shading, which is meant to shape the butt the same way contouring in the makeup helps make the face look more defined.
We haven’t tried them out ourselves, especially considering they cost $110, but the ladies at Women’s Health have, and their conclusion is that this really works. The design made it look as though the rear-end was perkier and more sculpted, and this, in turn, gave the wearer a lot more confidence — and what woman doesn't want the added boost of confidence?
These are not the only leggings on the market which have made headlines for being ultra flattering, and just last year it was Gymshark’s seamless knit Flex leggings that were lusted after by everyone. This time it was the women from Shape magazine who tried out these leggings to see the results, and although they raved about the comfort and the way their booty’s looked — the colored varieties made their butts look contoured — they found that these leggings lacked compression and not everyone was a fan of the cut (they aren’t high waisted).
Of course, nothing makes your booty look better than hard work, and a lot of squats and lunges, but if you need something to make you feel more confident while you work at attaining your long-term goal, then we see nothing wrong with this. Look for leggings with high-waisted panels, and compression features if you want to create the illusion of the perfect booty — and there are a lot more of these than just the aforementioned two on the market.
Plus, having really great workout clothes can make you feel more motivated to exercise!
